Body Music – clapping, slapping, snapping, stepping and vocalizing – is an amalgam of composition and choreography, music you can , dance you can . Likely the first music/dance, the various Body Musics of the world contain kinesthetic ‘libraries’ of memories and cultural heritage, and blur the lines between music and dance.

Keith Terry, a pioneer of contemporary Body Music since 1978, has developed a methodology widely utilized by professional artists, educators and others for skill building, coordination, rhythmic timing and exploration, and ensemble awareness. Body Music Mini-Lessons are focused activities for exploring the art form, and useful activities for teachers of any subject to explore with students.
